Progress: Feed My Ride
It’s not every day that the Tour de France passes through Yorkshire, so when news broke out that it would be gracing the streets of our home town, we jumped at the chance to somehow be involved in this once in a lifetime event.
A selection of leading creatives came together to create unique designs for a collection of limited edition tote bags entitled ‘Feed My Ride’. Only 100 were produced of each design, with each bag being made from the same custom dyed 12 oz yellow cotton twill material. A colour matched embroidered woven label was fitted to the outer edge, as well as an internal pocket on the inside. Each designer was given the freedom to create a design of their choosing using single colour screen print.
They didn’t disappoint, making full use of their creativity and Yorkshire influences in their final designs. The agencies and illustrators involved in this special project included: M/M (Paris), Design Project, Rapha, Commission, Assembly, Build, Supermundane, Manual, I Love Dust, Intercity, StudioMakgill, Milltag, Neil Stevens, and Irving & Co with John Broadley.
