Setting your packaging standards

Twenty five years in the packaging business has allowed Progress to (excuse the pun), well, progress! A lot has changed in those 25 years regarding custom eco packaging – we’ve adapted the products we sell, the materials we use, the suppliers we partner with – and have grown to set packaging standards we hope to carry forward for future generations. One of those standards is Forest Stewardship Council^® certification – or FSC^® for short.

Why FSC certify your packaging?

Choosing to make packaging FSC certified is a responsible and sustainable decision for so many reasons. FSC certification will ensure that the materials used in your packaging come from responsibly managed forests, promote environmental conservation and practice responsible forestry. By opting for FSC certified packaging with us you’ll be demonstrating a commitment to reducing your environmental impact, addressing deforestation concerns, and supporting the well-being of forest ecosystems. This choice aligns with growing consumer preferences for eco-friendly products and contributes to a more sustainable supply chain, making it a positive step toward corporate social responsibility and a healthier planet.

We are FSC supply CHAIN approved.

Progress work with a chain of suppliers, from forests, through to paper mills and finally factories, ensuring our FSC products pass through this process, ‘FSC certified’ every time. Our team of administrators and account handlers take great care in ensuring all the products we sell to our customers end up labelled correctly without any non-conformities along the way.

Making the most of your FSC PACKAGING.

Whatever packaging format you are looking for, more often than not we can always supply an alternative to non-sustainable, or non-FSC products. In fact, the majority of packaging we produce is already being made with FSC certified materials, we just need to make some amends to your paperwork and our supply chain to allow you to ‘shout’ about it.

LABELLING your FSC packaging.

As an FSC credited supplier (license code: C149731), we are able to share the ‘on pack’ logos with you so that you can share your commitment to sustainability with your stakeholders. See yourself as more of a silent supporter of sustainable product? No problem. You can opt out of labelling your products with the FSC logo and choose a few sentences that let your consumers know you have made your packaging with thoughts about the forest. Or you need not say anything at all – knowing you know your brand is sustainably sourced is sometimes simply enough.
